Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

The Triangle Relocation Planner is intended to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat reports of barriers as defects to fix.

Measures we take

• Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements — including the multi-step planner, accordions and comparison controls — are operable by keyboard, with a “skip to main content” link on every page.
• Visible focus states: focus indicators are not removed, so keyboard users can always see where they are.
• Color contrast: text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, and color is never the only way information is conveyed.
• Reduced motion: the design avoids decorative animation, and any motion respects the user's reduced-motion preference.
• Screen-reader support for tables and charts: data tables use proper header markup and captions, and visual indicators (such as progress bars) carry text equivalents and ARIA attributes.
• Form labels and errors: every input has a programmatically associated label, hints are linked by ID, and validation errors are announced with role="alert" and described in plain language.
